The original [CF]clan

Hi all i am the original Cod4 [CF] clan leader we have changed are tag to =TDK=
here is the servers we run.
Cod 4 Killhouse&Shipment hardcore 16 slot
Cod 4 Old school glitch server 12 slots.
Cod 4 harcore only server 10 slots,
Cod 5 bolt action only 16 slots,
Cod 5 eurodominations war server 16 slots,
Cod 5 Team deathmatch hardcore 12 slots,
Left for dead 8 slot server
Killing floor 6 slot server.

All our servers are run professionally and UK based we play in the eurodominations ladder on Cod 5 and have loads of fun on our other servers,
If a members of our clan wants to have our L4D or Killing fields server for the night they can just xfire me.
We also have a 70 slot ventrilo server and its free to anyone who wanbt to use it (If your a member of =TDK= you will be in the members section of ventrilo)

Frankly Im not sure if a whole new thread was necessary, but I feel Ill through my input into the mixing bowl.

As a member of TDK, yes, we do HAVE those servers, and I generally like the clan/members/ventrillo. The only fault is thus, we dont ever play on them. TDK as a clan hasnt played in any of the cod4 servers in who knows how long. We idle in the l4d, and killing floor will be smothered within a week.

I understand daz that you want to protect your 'baby' if you will of CF clan, but I feel you should face the facts that you're now the leader of the prospering clan TDK. And what Aastii wants to do is play more then just cod:waw.

Another fact is that only two (ish) members of TDK are members of CF (originally it was more, but they've dropped). One being me, the other being you, daz. I feel Aastii wants to get its centralized more around CF members and more games.

*Insert rant about how CF could be more Americanized as well*

I was the original Creater of [CF] and my clan did merge with =TDK= we only had two members from =TDK= join us, and we are still the same clan so i dont understand were the abuse is coming from.
Kobaj has already asked me if we will be running COD4 part 2 servers so why he has said what he said i dont no.
 
lol, I would have joined if it were still CF clan, but now that it doesn't have the name anymore.. It's just like not even good, it's just wack.

The wackness is all I see.
 
This is exactly why the mod team has been hesitant to allow these "Clans" to form. I've been in enough clans to know that you cannot have a clan without little petty clan fights (about what clan is what and who is what rank, etc.)

meanman, despite where your original members came from, it stands that at this point: a) your clan is not a CF clan (it doesnt even have the CF name/tag) b) your clan (or any clan for that matter) is not and will not be "endorsed" by Computer Forum.


Sorry if I'm coming off as a harda** but these little arguments are obnoxious and the exact reason why mods were against a CF Clan.

Why can't we all just get together sometime and play a fun round of CoD4 every now and then in an empty server? We can call ourselves the CF Clan if we really want to. I don't really care. As long as we're all having a good time :D
 
sorry if i have sort of sparked this off by accidentally starting the CF clan again (read the first post i put, the origianl one, it was purely by accident that this has sarted up again), but meanman, i agree with what has been said here, and I am not trying to take [CF] clan or anything like that at all, which is what i think you are getting at.

To clarify i think i should say:

1. The one we have been on about in the other post is no one persons "clan", it is all of the members of the forum to ahve their own input
2. It isn't the original CF clan, that has been stated for several reasons in this post and in my post and we aren't going to be the computer forum clan or anything lie that because that is what you originally were, we can't take the steam group and its one member, we can't take the xfire that hasn't been used for a year, that is the original clans and even though that is gone and is now tdk, it is still yours and you can keep it.
3. I myself am not after numbers or seriousness like you seem to be, i enjoy the banter on here, i enjoy playing games, i wanted to, not initially, but it turned inot it, have banter and play games without it going serious.

I agree with you in so much as the petty little arguments either pi** people off something nasty and it falls apart, or it just causes it to fall apart by people losing their rag and ending up getting removed. This is what i said in 3, it isn't, in my eyes atleast, going to be a serious clan who is in leagues or what not who has a million and one ranks and tryouts and stuff.

Yea, there will have to be rules and guidelines so people don't start getting irate or abusing others or what not, but taking it to the nth degree and starting to get hardcore isn't what i imagined when i started the threads. If in the future everyone here wants to make it more serious then i will go with the flow, but as i said, it is everyones clan, that is everyones decision and if they want it to be more serious then go for it, if others want to stay back and keep it relaxed then those that want to play proper games can do so, those that want to relax can do so.

What i am trying to say is it isn't going to be "your" clan it is going to be computer forums clan, it isn't going to be how I or any other one person wants it to be, it will be everyones how the comunity wants it
 
Aastii i am not offended at anything so dont worry i came on cf yesturday to advertize my clan and it was just coincidence that you had posted, I wish you all the luck with starting [CF] up again its alot of work but it is worth it you can meet some nice people doing this trype of thing so keep up the good work :)

But I have read that the original creator of the CF clan like never went on it and like quit CF or something?
Maybe I am wrong? (probs yeh)
