Did you apply the 1.1 patch? it was released the day the game was to fix some late bugs and stuff. If you didn't apply it you'll start over if you want to. I did though, and it's just great. What settings on that beast? I put almost ever slider to high except grass on medium, depth of field OFF, because it kills cut scene FPS, 2x AA and 8x AS and I still get good, playable FPS, average 25.

Yes I did that right after I installed the game. I run it with everything on high, but no AA since that seems to be the culprit for bad FPS, and I average 40-70FPS. I'll try turning off Depth of Field because during cut scenes my FPS goes down the tube as well.

thoroughly enjoying this so far, into the 3rd chapter now which is a little under half way I think. Its a fair old size this game and keeps you entertained.

That's good to know. I'm getting sick of these games that you can finish in under a week. Bring back FF8 - 80 hours of gameplay.

Final fantasy 8 was nice.. Try dragon quest 8? It was even better, IMO.

The witcher definitely has some longevity to it, And it manages to stay fresh the entire time. Nice merits.
