to enhance printer performance(dot matrix)

Hi everybody,

I am using dot matrix printer. When I taking print out from dos editor it is much faster that if i take the same from notepad. What is the reason tell me
and can i able to get the same performance from notepad itself ?

DOS uses a much more primative print processor technique (that's if it even uses one). Windows has a bunch of built in quality controls and buffering done in the background (as well as using different print processing techniques)

right, all you can do is set your windows . set your print quality to draft

You can also change your Print Processors, open the print properties, advanced tab, print processor, pick one
