Two active mouse pointers

Ok I know this has been discussed on many boards in the past before, but after searching around some I cant really seem to find an answer.

Is there some program or driver or something that will work with windows 7 (or vista) that will enable you to have 2 separate mouse pointers from two different mice? Or enable two active pointers on a touch pad or touch screen?

One thing I have seen said a lot is "why have two active pointers? that would be confusing? whats the purpose?". Well I want to know for a virtual dj program I have, where it is needed to be able to manipulate more than one thing simeultaneously. Im sure it probably has hotkeys, but some things like turing knobs and moving sliders you just need a second mouse.

There has got to be something somewhere or some kind of way. Any thoughts?
