video card now or later

what should I do, wait until the 8 series, and DX10 or get one for about 300$ now.. I'm would spend prob 400 on the 8 though, becuase it's prob worth it.

It's not for me actually it's for my brother, who has a 3200 AMD 64 bit, so I dunno.

Well, what video card does he have now? And is he going to be gaming? Personally, I would wait until the new video cards are released and then buy an ATI X1900XTX(Not sure how many X's there are supposed to be).

Not sure of the Manufat. but its' a 6200tc i think. and if he does get a new one then i get that one, is that better then 5600XT?? haha

6200tc is little better than 5600XT, but 6200tc is an PCI-E card and your motherboard doesn't support PCI-E cards.
