Vista SP2 Beta was released a few days ago if you haven't noticed.

I just finished installing it and can't see too much of a difference. However it does seem to wake up faster and obtain a wireless signal quicker. I will keep you'll posted on what I find.
EDIT: Before anyone asks, you first run the .cmd file. Go into the windows update and hit check for updates on the left side. You will install one small update followed by another small update. (you only need to reboot after the second update) Once you reboot, go back into the windows update. Hit check for updates again and you will be asked to install a new update. That update is the service pack
