Weirdest/Best personal gaming moment?

Ok so I'm bored at work today and my mind started wandering. Somehow it ended up at the time when I had this weird moment playing NHL99 Playstation.

When I first popped in the disc and started playing everything was going great. I was like 2-0 on the other team and then it went scoreless for a while. All of a sudden, out of no where, the announcer/commentator guy says "Hey! Where's my chair? Oh wait...there's a game on!" It only happened once. It was so surreal and I kept trying different combos of game situations, teams, etc to try to get him to say it again but it never happened. Has anyone else had something like that happen to them?

I also thought of some short funny stories that happened to my friends when we were kids:

One night my buddy was playing Resident Evil 1 in the dark for hours. Like almost all day kind of playing. He was basically running on Cheetos and Mountain Dew at this point. Well anyway, at one point his blinds suddenly moved out of no where. We realized later it was the A/C that did it. That scared the heck out of him. However, his small but over weight, cocker spaniel walked in the room by pushing the not-so-closed door open. My friend didn't see the dog b/c of how his room was set up and my buddy screamed at the top of his lungs. This of course scared the dog, who being as fat as it was, ran from the room knocking over another piece of furniture in the hall way. Well to say the least everyone is awoken by all the sudden sounds. His dad, a 'Nam vet, after hearing the screaming and crashing sounds, grabs his, and I kid you not, Chinese fire rifle which he somehow got in the war, and ran to my friend's room about to burn the place down. It was the funniest thing I've ever heard of!

My last story. My friend, we'll call him Mark, had another one his friend's, we'll call him Steve, spend the night at his house. After drinking coke, eating McDonald's, and playing Street Fighter all night they fell asleep. However Steve forgot to mention that he has problems with sleep walking. My friend Mark was sleeping on the floor while Steve slept on the bed. In the middle of the night Mark wakes up to someone hitting him. He rolls over and gets kicked in the gut by Steve. Mark gets pissed and yells at him to knock it off. Steve kicks him again. Mark gets up, look him square in the face, and lays a haymaker to the face of Steve. Steve goes down. Mark starts yelling that if he kicks him one more time that he's going to kill him. Steve, startled, gets up and has tears in his eyes and blood gushing from his nose and says, "WTF are you talking about!?!? I didn't touch you!" Mark tells him he was kicking him and Steve is like, "I was sleeping and dreaming I was Ryu vs. Some teacher's name I can't remember." Well Mark apologized and helped him with his nose. They both had a good laugh the next morning when Steve's mom told Mark that he had sleep walking problems. Steve looked like hell the next time I saw him. It was hilarious.

Anyone else care to share some funny moments?

Has anyone played Black and White 2? I entered my name and I can swear to you that the game whispered it about 4 times. I was playing at night and this freaked me out, I am looking around my room and in the hallway, I finally got the balls to face the problem and turned up the speakers, I heard my name.

I have another weird occurance, that also scared the p outta me. I have a wireless 5.1 setup in my room, I left my cellphone on my desk. I was trying to go to sleep and I am hearing these heartbeat sounds from around the room, I had no idea what was going on. I heard it for the third time and finally came to conclusion, it was my cellphone tapping a signal and the speakers were catching it. Freaky, huh?

I *still* only have a PS1. I'd have to say the most exciting console moment was when I beat the game Parasite Eve!

On the PC it was probably the moment I gave a guy (who was having a rough go of Diablo II on Battle.net) Durial's Shell. I'd played the game to death at that point and couldn't care less what equipment I gave away. It was nice to make someone's day!

lol... dude, that cracked me up good! hahaha... i was trying very hard not to laugh coz im in the office... anyone passing by that looked at me grinning while holding my nose must have thought that i had lost it... lol :D
that was a good one...

The one incident that comes to mind right now is an impromptu all-nighter that I pulled with someone during college playing UT2004 for about 10 hours straight. We had done so many different scenarios that we played the mode where the game sends wave after wave of enemies at you until they kill you. Well, we did that a few times and decided to spice it up a bit. We kept adding different mods until we ended up with this combo: low gravity, do not clear dead bodies, unlimited ammo, and a few other things. The thing that I remember vividly is that it got to the point in quite a few games where there were so many dead bodies floating in the air that we couldn't figure out which ones to really shoot at and were killed by a dead body... :D Think of some more later...

AWSOME game... i once had my monster look at ME and then the computer froze with his eyes staring at me... really scary too, because i was zoomed in and my monster is super mean and strong... it was awsome too i saved the frozen game as a screenshot lol now its my desktop

EDIT: and my story? well, i was playing some quake 4, and i turned it up real loud on my logitech 5.1's, (made the walls shake and bang lol) and then out of nowhere my little cubicle walls that i have all fell down at the same time, and i was left holding my monitor because everything had toppled over.(the cubicle walls were holding up some plywood that i was using as a desk at the time.) then my parents walked in and i had to explain how my stupid computer got thrown all over my rom. i blamed the subwoofer, rightly, but they never believed me, even when i showed them that you can feel the blast of my sub from across the room.
