I took out my old firewire card from my old dell 570 ( 2009 both ) and tried to install it in my new Dell 5675 but it didn't fit, different lenght . The card is Dinex 3 port IEEE 1394 PCI Host adapter.
The Dell 5675 has 2 CPIe slots available , 1 is very short and the other is long . I couldn't find infos on the web for those differences.
what new Firewire card should I buy now ?
I need to digitize 16 MiniDv TAPES from Panasonic PV GS150 , it worked with my old Dell but very slow.
