i wouldnt say it matters at all, i use 1280x1024 and everything looks fine, nothing is out of proportion or stretched. Anyone wanna bash me, bring it on, ill fight to the death.[-0MEGA-] said:There are going to be some people that start bashing you since 1280x1024 on a CRT isnt the correct aspect ratio![]()

my 17" CRT does 1920x1000dragon2309 said:seems 1280x1024 is winning here, in my opinion its the best one without having to pay a lot more to get up to 1600x1200 (My monitor caps off at 1280)
Actually, it's high because people with 17"-19" LCD's all run it at 1280x1024, i dont think its because of the people with 17" CRT's that run it at 1280x1024.dragon2309 said:seems 1280x1024 is winning here, in my opinion its the best one without having to pay a lot more to get up to 1600x1200 (My monitor caps off at 1280)
Why does LCD and CRT make any difference at all..... they are the same size..... a 12" CRT is he same size as a 17" LCD, 12inches doesnt magically become bigger on an LCD.[-0MEGA-] said:Actually, it's high because people with 17"-19" LCD's all run it at 1280x1024, i dont think its because of the people with 17" CRT's that run it at 1280x1024.
Because a 17-19" LCD has a native resolution of 1280x1024, so thats what almost everyone runs it at. Alot of people with 17" CRT's run at a mix of 1280x1024 and 1024x768.dragon2309 said:Why does LCD and CRT make any difference at all..... they are the same size..... a 12" CRT is he same size as a 17" LCD, 12inches doesnt magically become bigger on an LCD.
