What's a good alternative to Norton Antivirus?

I have been using Norton since I can recall, but after many "format c:"s, I have come to notice my computer is more speedy just before I install Norton.

I have recently formated my PC again, but I haven't installed Norton yet, Im looking for another alternative, preferable one that isn't as resource-hog as Norton.

Any suggestions?

Isn't Panda as resource hog as Norton? o_O
Anyway, Im trying AVG right now, seems nice so far, but I don't know, it kinda gives me the impression it isnt updated as often as Norton and kinda makes me feel unsafe...maybe it's because I have never used another anti-virus in my life >xD

You should be fine with it.... worst case scenario you get a mailing worm and you have to use a Norton Remover... :)

You can use a KV2004 ,an antivirus software from China.
It can handle all the virus-killing tasks.
