I personally dont think there will be a major price drop for a while. Not many new cards have plans for being released until DirectX 10. There might be some minor price fluctuations.

Prices don't usually change that much unless new cards are going to be released. So you probably won't see major price drops until DX10 comes out with the new line of cards.

lol, they will probably never come out with the 8000 series. At least it seems that way right now.

in the 6 months I have had my BFG 7800 GTX it has dropped £35

£370 - £335, not enough to wait for it, I will be looking for another one to go SLI but definately not until the price reasonably drops.

if you are conisdering spending that much, then wait until november when we hve proper performace comparisons between R-600 and G-80..

they should both have over 48 pixle-piplines, and should be the dogs...

I just hope they will release a G-8000 serie dual card. Just like the 7950 x2.
