Where to buy a PS3??

my elctronics store used to be circuit city, semi good prices, and an amazing return policy. but no they are gone and i dont know where to go.

my options are walmart, target, best buy, and kmart.

anyone have any idea or know which one has the best return policy for if something goes wrong?

i do have gamestop, well 3 within 15 miles, but they always seem kinda shady and the kids working there are idiots.

i was thinkin best buy or walmart. but dam, best buy has got to be the most overpriced store ever
 
I don't know what the policy is like for the Gamestops in the USA, but at EB Games here you have one month to take the console back to the store if it acts up, or you an buy a warranty through the store for $x amount and take it back with the proof of purchase and they'll replace it over the counter with a new one. (I'd ask them about it, just to make sure I'm right. I use to work for EB Here in my city, but again... I'm in Canada and I don't know if that changes from country to country).

But as for the stores listed above... I have no idea. I'd probably go for Wal-Mart.
 
think best buy is 30 days with a receipt. Best return policy but not for electronics is home depot. Ive taken many items back 2 or 3 yrs old and no receipt. they scan and know if its there's.
 
all right, walmart has a 90 day with receipt, i think imma get it there. ive never had problems with returns there
 
I'd get it at walmart and I'd try to get a cheap 3 year warranty if they still have them.

My first PS3 crapped out after 2 weeks. I wasn't the only one, and I've been worried about my replacement (new from Amazon) ever since. An extra couple of years of warranty would have been nice.
 
cool, there is a 1 year warranty from sony, and a 3 year extended warranty from walmart(which starts after manufacturer waranty ends) is $30. so for an extra $30 i get 4 years of coverage :D
 
If you haven't already, go buy it from Wal*Mart. Pick up a fishing license and some ammo while you're there to make the trip efficient :P
