Which game would you like to play for a CF gaming tournament?

This is the "follow up" thread to my last thread, where I brought up the idea of having an "official" CF gaming tournament.

This thread is to determine the game that will be played first, second, third, etc, if we all choose to do this. If you would like to play games that are not on this list, please post them here.

And remember, this is just a preliminary poll, and im trying to get a feel for what types of games people would be interested in playing.

Ok, so theres one for BF2. I could only have 10 here, but I hope to get a reliable poll so I can create an "official" one with games that the majority of us like.

Im hoping to get this up and working soon.

I voted for css and 1.6, hl2 deathmatch, day of defeat source, halo, need for speed most wanted, and fear. I would have voted for battlefield 2142 but I don't have it yet.

So far it looks like CSS, CS1.6, HL2: Deathmatch, Halo, NFS, and BF2142/2 are the most popular. I'll leave this running for a few more days, then i'll post the official one.

What im planning on doing is having a poll (like this one), run for the first week of the month, then whichever game is voted #1, #2, and #3 respectively will be played the rest of the 3 weeks that month.

I dont have any date set yet, but im guessing sometime during the weekend since thats when most people are free (maybe another poll). The dates and times would be set up well in advance, so people can plan for it and register. Unless someone wants to buy a server, we will probably end up looking for a server just a few hours before each match, to make sure we find a good one thats empty, with good settings, and that will stay active. Teamspeak can also be setup, but since thats less internet intensive, it can probably be hosted on someones personal PC for that match.

sounds good to me. There are plenty of empty servers in all the games, and hosting teamspeak is never a problem.

At the start of next week (Sunday), i'll make an "official" poll with what games we want to play for the upcoming month. Whatever won top picks here will be chosen, as well as another one or two.
