which one

7900GTX in SLI would be top of the line.

Do you mean 2x 7900GTX in SLI or x2 X1900XTX in Crossfire?

I would personally get 1 7900GTX, it will perform any game out now and for a good amount of time or med-high settings depending on your system. Then as time goes on, you can either get another for SLI or buy the latest card out.

no

It depends, what are you using the computer for?

I am assuming its for gaming, what games do you play?

Mostly BF2 sometimes Call of Duty 2. I am mostly going to play first-person shooters.

Ofcourse two 7900gtx in SLI would be better than one 1900xtx...

Or are you comparing two 7900gtx in SLI vs. two 1900xtx in crossfire?

well the site where im getting my comp doesn't say crossfire by the 1900 but it says SLI by the 7900. would the 1900 in crossfire be better than 7900 in SLI, just curious.

Sounds like they are saying that the 7900 is SLI ready meaning it's capable of running in SLI mode same with Crossfire.....am I wrong about that?

that's what im trying to find out. If the 1900 can be run in crossfire i'll just get that and later on ill get another 1. It is a bit unclear

That is what I was thinking. The ones that are actually SLI are the ones that say 2x beside them.
