I find it to be a very good survey. As far as I know, there hasnt been one before. And we can see everyones veiws on routers.

Personaly I like Belkin. Ive had the same wireless router for 2 years and it hasnt failed me, its been through alot.

I bet when your first piece of ass said you needed more training, Did you change teams? Or did you finally figure out what YOU did wrong?????

Are you calling him (or even me) a quitter? We dont need that kind of negativity on these forums. Training, and routers are two different things. Routers fail due to many reasons, Im willing to bet it was the manufactureres fault. Trainers can be wrong too, no one is perfect.

Shall I say Operating System or is OS OK? OM Operators Manual....

MyCattMaxx I'm sorry to say this, but please grow up! Useless comments such as

What a dumb ass survey!!!!!!

is absolutely no way to approach something. How is that post helpful? This sort of behaviour really is beginning to get on my nerves now (not you in particular) - no one needs to put up with stuff like that.

Please, think about your posts, what you are actually contributing to the forum, and even if you want to shed your opinion on how stupid this thread is (no, that's not my opinion), atleast give a reason!

MyCattMaxx
what is the matter with you
calm down
we're not fighting here it's only a poll
so if you have something good to say .... then say it
otherwise it would be better if you keep it to yourself

anyway back to the topic
personally i used those (D-link, Speedtouch, Linksys....) and some others not worth mentioning
i've had problems with all of them
but currently i have a linksys router running but
i liked D-Link it's easy to use and it was the least of them making problems

shadyi, I think he has nothing to say because he's embarassed at how stupid he acted. Too right as well, he should be embarassed.

However, I'm sure some people here would atleast appreciate an apology, MyCattMaxx...

personally using netgear at the moment otherwise i would use 3com as i have been more than happy with both of them.

All the computers in my house are wireless so need something that can handle everything and be stable with all connections. The current netgear one is doing a cracking job

BT Yahoo

Im with them and they jjust gae me any old one but i'll be ditching them soon and getting a good isp and then hopefully i'll have a better one. i have a KVM Belkin switch so i'll probs go with them!!! :D

I've got a sitecom, it is really good for reliability and features, i had a belkin USB wifi dongle and that broke incredibly easily, it got slightly bent and all the soldering on the pins came away, which didn't impress me, but i have a sitecom PCI card and it works flawlessly with windows, linux and theoretically OSX if i can ever sort out a HDD for it, also i get excellent signal strengh all thetime (but i am about 2 metres from the router)

Netgear for me thats what we used then the company we have DSL through offered there wireless router that dosnt need another one and offers fasters speeds. but it is not better i liked our netgear one never had anything wrong with it and this one keeps dropping the signal espescially today and Frontier is always down.
