im leaning twards the x1300 due to its MUCH faster speeds, even though it has less pixle pipelines (4) compared to the 6600 (8)

theres no agp versions of the 7300gt...and both his cards are agp, so we're assuming he has an agp motherboard.

yup, but the thing is, i know about the 6600, but the x1300 has sooooo much higher speeds, kinda like the whole 6800GT/GS ordeal, but the x1300 blows the 6600 out of the water

No, the x1300 is actually a worse performing card than the 6600.

but the card ive chosen has clocks of 600/800 insted of the much slower 300/500 of the 6600, and the x1300 has OGL2 insted of OGL1.5 of the 6600, so use thoes numbers in GPU review and the x1300 prevails, and besides that, the 6600 they have on GPU review has 128MB and not 256, and while im at it, the x1300 only has DDR in GPU review insted of DDR2 which it has

It's comparing the 6600 to the x1300PRO, which is even better than the card your getting. You can clearly see that the 6600 is the winner.

No im not... im comparing the 6600 AGP to the x1300 (x1300PRO in the links i posted).

Nothing is better at comparing cards than real world tests, you cant compare cards just by specs.

dude, on both of the pages, its the 6600DDR2 and the 6600GT, not the plain boring 6600

Well, for $20 more you can get the 6600GT, which would be the best choice in my opinion.

EDIT: For $2 more, you can get this 6600GT clocked at 500/1000.

Great find, that would actually be the best card in my opinion. The only downside is its DDR2.

Get that X1600 ATI card.. But if I were you.. used 6800GT/Ultra would be my choice
