windows update is being wierd

Ummm yea... Windows update is has been in my task bar for the past 3 or 4 days, and its wont open when i double click on it, and it just says 0% download. I cant ctrl-alt-delete it b/c that window doesnt open up any more, along with msconfig, ans the registrey. Does anybody know if its a virus or spyware, i've also ran spybot and adware.....

Check your system with http://housecall.trendmicro.com or other online virus scanner.
If you can't access task manager, regedit, etc., you can use alternate programs like procexp and regalyzer.
