I keep getting the same Windows update called MSXML 4.0 SP@ Security Update (KB927978) and I keep getting an error report in my C drive i think thats what it is, To let you know to I just reformated my pc,Should i do it again? to fix this problem.
 
With a reformat of the drive and fresh installation just about any update should go right on without trouble. If you had a firewall previously installed and running before that wait until you have all of the current updated installed before running it again. Often those or some antivirus programs will impede various downloads and some updates at times.
 
Well the update pops up its self then i click install, says done the its back again matter of seconds same one over an over.
 
I ran across someone having a similar problem where they first downloaded it to the desktop before trying to install it. If you see the "modify, repair, remove" prompt you first choose the option to remove the current failed installation and then double click on the copy you freshly downloaded.
