windows vista/7/8

windows 8 it is likely. Vista and 7 do not have support (as far as I know) for ARM processors that most tablets use.

which tablet are you trying to install on?

It is best not to try. If you must, then get the fastest processor you can find, and at least 1GB of RAM, 2GB if you can find it. On top of that, you need at least 20GB of nonvolitile storage (HDD or SSD).

Why would you take a beautiful Android OS like Ice Cream Sandwich or Jellybean and put WINDOWS on it?

64gb blackberry pad?
Personally, I would not touch anything blackberry.

Maybe android doesn't do what he needs? Or maybe its a windows vs Linux thing, where he don't like what android does, and thus puts something else on it. I would never put windows on it, but that is what he is trying.

You can't boot from a USB drive running Windows on an Android tablet, developers/hackers have a tough time getting a Linux distro to run on it, and even then it's heavily involved to get it to even install correctly.

Windows 8 RT (tablet version) does not support other tablets than the ones on which is intended to be used, as there are no drivers. So, that's a no. :)

I Googled this a bit and apparently this has been discussed on other forums too, and, as far as I remember, the best thing you can do at the moment (maybe things will change in the future) is to install an Windows 8 Metro theme :) That is, of course, if you just like the sweet interface and you can live without the Windows 8 features.
