If you're going to limit yourself to a wired router, most any should work just fine. I might stick with more popular brands(Dlink, Linksys, Netgear, etc) but any should do the job. However, you might want to consider getting a wireless router... They aren't much more expensive but have many more features. Plus, you could get one compatible with DD-WRT which is a much better firmware than many routers come preloaded with.
If you still can't decide on a router, just go to newegg and search their routers sorted by Highest Rating. See which router most people go with.
