I have a 108 mbps Netgear wireless adapter and i was trying to find an wireless extender for it... so I could get a better connection in my house because my desk is near a wall and doesnt pick up good from my computer room... but the wireless extender im looking at refers to a 802.11b/g connection... http://sewelldirect.com/xterasys-external-extension-antenna.asp and i cant find a wireless extender for mine... or would this be compatible with mine? any help would be appreciated

Unless your Netgear is a wireless N network, that should work. Other than that, you might want to look into an extender/access point that catches the wifi from your router, than redistributes it again across wherever it is places. This may be better since you are not getting any connection from your existing connection, a new antenna might just give your a connection, but not a very good one.

Check to see if the antenna on your router is removeable. you should be able to screw it off if it is. then you'll be able to see if it's a reverse sma connector, or a reverse tnc connector. check out http://www.hyperlinktech.com/web/hg2409mgrd.php if you wanna buy one. it shows pictures of both connectors, so pick the one that looks like yours.
