Wireless Router

I have a wired router and 3 computers, my house is full of ethernet cables sticking out of the windows, going down the stairs... If I get a wireless router will I loose any data/internet speed along the way? Will I also need special firewall systems for wireles internet?

i dont think you will lose speed, i got a wireless card on my Dell laptop, and it runs a 11MBPS, runs just like it did hooked up in the RJ-45 jack, anyway, i just have the Windows Firewall, as long as you have plenty of anti-virus, malware, spyware etc., i think your fine, thats all i got.

The router will have a NAT firewall built into it. But I still run ZA to keep outgoing under control. I set my main comp as DMZ thru the router for gaming etc.
