wireless setup on DSi

Sister just got a Nintendo DSi, and we are trying (well failing at it) to set up the wireless on it.
1. its asking for the IP address, which i can find, but its asking for too many #'s. It has 4 sets of 3 spaces. (000.000.000.000) when our address is 2-1-3-2 (00.0.000.00). what should we do here?
2. it needs a subnet mask. what is this, and how do i find what ours is?
3. also needs a Gateway. Also dont know what this is, or how to find ours (google didnt answer it.)

Isn't there an automatic search for network settings on there?

You can manually set up an ip address. And you should be able to enter the IP address as normal just press the period key after the 1 or 2 number section of the ip address.

subnet mask is usually always 255.255.255.0

the gateway is the ip address of your router, like 192.168.1.1 for example.
