WoW Noob question

I was wondering how can you tell before joining that a realm server is east or west of U.S and 2nd quesiton if you play on 10 day trial and then it expires then can you continue witht he same character you been working with all the items and lvls by buying the game for $20.00 dollars? or will you hvae to start over after you b ought the game.

you can keep playing the account you've played in the trail (including the already made characters)

I don't think theres a way to tell what the timezone is before you log onto the server. Best way I'd do it is to just make a character all quick like, skip the intro and check. Or just download Titan Panel, and it has a clock you can set to you own time.

If you join a server, create a character then login, you can highlight the sun/moon on the minimap thing in the upper right hand corner and that will give you the server time which you can use to determine its location.
