xbox 360 keyboard and mouse

can i use any keyboard and mouse with a 360 or do i need Microsoft ones or do they have to be xbox 360 specific

Any USB native keyboard will work. A mouse will do you no good and all you can use a keyboard for is to type text messages, in other words, you can't use them for games.
