XP admin password

hey everyone,
Just dug out my old desktop from 4 years ago and I've decided to use it now but i 4got the xp admin password. I was the primary account on there and I have no clue what the password was. MIND YOU, there WAS A PASSword set previously. ive tried safe mode but it still asks me for a pass. please help!!

Hmm I don't think you'll get an answer simply because we don't know that all you say is true. I believe you, but it's in the forum rules sorry.

webbenji is correct. While I sympathise with your situation, we have no way to verify the authenticity of such stories, and even if they're known to be true, discussion of such issues will still leave a 'how to' guide publicly viewable on computerforum for would-be hackers.

For this reason, such discussion is against the Forum Rules
