ZoneAlarm Problem

I recently downloaded ZoneAlarm to help protect my computer and it worked well for the first couple of days. However, I don't know how to configure the program to allow me to have a network so that my laptop can connect.. Also it seems that ZoneAlarm has also slowed down my internet.. Should I get a different firewall?

try reconnecting to your network when zonealarm is running it should pop up with sumthing like "new network found" for your internet problem disable all the email protection if you dont need it. btw i have zonealarm myself.

Edit: idk but mine may be different cause mine is the internet suite its like an all in one =p

since your using windows...I would suggest using fw's like softperfect or tiny fw...and just take the few minutes to learn rule creating...in my experience they work better. but overall I would suggest something like smoothwall which is a linux distro.
