Working with tables in MS Word.

Helps to keep the question and maybe post the solution for anyone else that may stumble across this in future
 
It was a small oversight. I was skipping over first tab that controlled total dimension of table. I was messing with individual cells by mistake. I feel dumb after the fact.

Thank you sharing your "oversight".
I feel better knowing I'm not the only one doing "dumb" things!!!
I can sometimes not find something when it is in plain sight. :)
