Is the Gamecom 377 Headset worth buying?

I need a lower priced headset for my PC. Preferably under $40. Does anybody here own the Gamecom 377 headset and think it is worth buying?

Also, If you have any alternatives please post.

i bought a gamecom 777 for like $30 off ebay and it's really good. The 377 is the same but without the "virtual surround".

Personally, i would not recommend any of the gamecom headsets if you are looking for the best audio quality. For Sub $40, unless you absolutely need a mic, i would go with either of these:

or

The gamecom headsets are decent for gaming, but if you're going to use them for music and such as well, i'd suggest either of the above.

You can also get a Zalman clip on mic and use it for games, which is what I plan to do with my HD201's

Yeah, zalman makes a nice clip on mic, and i believe they also make a mic that clips to the cord which works pretty well. (I believe its zalman, might be confusing it with another manufacturer).

Yeah, these will mostly be used for music but I do plan on playing some games. I don't need surround sound, but I just want good audio quality.
