every now and then my pc beeps which sounds like what it does when it starts up and sometimes it beeps twice in 1 second. it sounds like its coming from the hard drive but i dunno why the hell it keeps doin it. its like when you hold too many keys on the keyboard at the same time. does anyone know what this means and why its doing it.

Look inside and see if you can find the PC speaker. Try to mute it somehow; either unplug it if you can, or just cover the hole if it's say a buzzer. See if the beeping continues.

The last system I had that had a similar problem was my old Epox board(had for about a week :p) One of the voltages would go beyond it's threshold causing the motherboard's alarm to go off...

I never said you had a PSU problem. Mine was power related, but was actually my motherboard. Please read my post and try my suggestions...
