Laptop problem keeps crashing /turns off

ok i have otther hd which already has windows installed on it secondary drive so im trying to boot from that but i cant http://imgur.com/ht6Akui

ok booted the other windows from my second hd it still turned off that windows install is old tho and had problems before, i have some spare external hds could i put windows on them and boot it up like that

You can't use a hard drive with windows already installed on it from a different machine. Also please tell me you aren't using a program to update drivers? Most of them are filled with malware.
