I think part of the problem may be the system trying
to reserve some of the graphics card memory, which
it has none to spare in that 128mb card.? Just a guess.
Getting a newer card with more memory is a good idea
but so is adding more system memory as well.
The HAF X comes with 4 fans:
1 x 230mm front red LED
1 x 200mm top fan
1 x 200mm side fan
1 x 140mm rear fan
You won't need any more cooling than that. :good:
Thanks for the double post.
Even an outdated PSU Calculator (not sure why you think it is)
will be more accurate than your guess "sure, it will be fine".
If you have something better, post it. If not, don't.
Yes, it could be hardware related, but lets get some more info first.
Was the computer running fine, yet slow, before you started working on it?
What brand and model is the computer?
If custom, what motherboard, processor and RAM does it have?
I don't see a "stunt" either.
A similar analogy was already made.
Can you put a Toyota tubocharger on a Chevy without a mod?
How dare they! :D
I personally could not care less, and I don't look for those minute details when I'm gaming.
I'm more concerned with quality of gameplay...
First thing, don't waste your money on the VelociRaptor.
It's a good drive, but not worth the money.
If you're getting drive errors, then yes, you'd most likely see a performance gain with a new drive.
Whether a new, faster drive will perform better than your old drive when it was new...
