yea sure they are plenty of ways to speed up your computer by downloading programs and having them taking care of your system for you with the """malwarebytes/anti-virus software, repair software(Advanced SystemCare,Registry Mechanic) and defrag."""
and with the ""reality_check"" dude with the whole program of Microsoft Tech Net you can do the same exact thing by going to "start task manager" (ctrl+alt+deleate) and clicking on processes and clicking end process on anything unfamiliar....
really all them programs is a bit time consuming and then you'll have the anti-virus on the bottom right corner eating up your performance and slowing down your pc depending on your specs. especially when your running at low gz. of processor speed and 2gb ram. and the whole defrag takes longer then a system reinstall up to 5x's as long...
the reason why i recomended system reinstall is because it works, pc will be like brand new yea youll probably have to reinstall a few programs like winrar and itunes etc. but i normally keep those in a folder on my second partition when i do a system reinstall... basically aint nothing better then a brand new pc feeling... some people are to lazy to setup their computer back to the way it was before a system reinstallation, sure it'll take about 10 minutes reinstalling programs but it beats a defrag any day... make sure you also have a folder with the device setups for your hardware in device manager.
and if your a gamer like me, install your games to a second harddrive that way you wont have to ever worry about reinstalling games and loosing saved data. and when you reinstall a system just go into the game harddrive and make a shortcut of the game exe to the desktop and your good to go.
being organized makes life easier without all these unnessacary programs
by the way i havent used antivirus in over 3 years and i never got a virus.
