about to place the order for my new gaming build. i spent a bit extra on parts like CPU and video card because i want this computer to last me for awhile. will probably add a second gtx 680 if needed later on.

just want to hear some last minute suggestions from you guys. i just dont want to order something and regret it later because i didn't do enough research! overall i think the build looks pretty good right now.

Look up the benches and the hd7970 ghz edition is faster overall than the 680 and someone said the 7000's crossfire better than the 600's

And id get a corsair, xfx, seasonic, silverstone, nzxt, antec, or pc power and cooling 850w.

For overclocking a 2600k is better and they are the same for performance, maybe 1 or 2% difference.

Everything looks good imo. I would change one thing tho.
1000w is overkill. System w/2x 680 requires 53 12v amps as a minimum.
This 70amp Corsair has plenty of headroom, is better built/components, plus it has nicer cables.

As far as case, mid tower is a good size. Depending on the esthetics you want, take a look at Lian Li, CoolerMaster, Nzxt, Corsair...

This ^ is to give you an idea. There may be one in there that won't have a place for your H100.
