amd compatible??

i want some ddr2 ram with a AMD processor but i searched and i cant seem to find a motherboard compatible with AMD have ddr2 ram on the motherboard too help plz

do u think it is a big differance between ddr and drr2 cause i kinda of wanted ddr2 cause i thought it was a lot faster than ddr but i do not know any suggestions?

no there is no big difference, a little maybe, ppl only want ddr2 because in like 2 years not many ppl are going to ddr. Don't worry or wait 3 months for the am2

I would just go ahead and build a system now, and then in 3 or 4 years (depending on how good the system is) then build another one. There's no point to wait for newer technology to come out, cause they come out too fast. By the time AM2 comes out, they'll be somthing newer lurking in the horizon.

consider dual channel ram

amd gaming computers recommend cual channel for the better usage of your ram

think about 4x 512 dual channel corsair rams. 2Gb is nice to have

2x1GB would be a better choice.
