Really your preference. Windows 7 is the most optimal, since all games and programs are designed these days to run on it.

I would get a different GPU that wasn't deactivated. Also, get a bigger SSD. Put Windows 7 and WoW on that 60gb and it's about full

You can make changes. You can start with 4gb of RAM, a different case, a smaller storage drive and yeah. Definitely up to you, just options.

^Links are broken, you can't directly copy/paste from other posts must copy actual URL's.
A very solid and cost-efficient card is the Sapphire Radeon Hd 6870, it costs 155 after rebates on newegg and will destroy WoW. Also, I'm not 100% sure I don't play WoW but also doesnt it rely on a good CPU as well? (I'm asking, I do not know)

Also, get a bigger SSD. Put Windows 7 and WoW on that 60gb and it's about full

WoW+Windows 7= 25 Maximum, aka 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate, fully patched WoW (22 gb's) That's roughly 1 third of the SSD...(Remember, windows 7 recommends 16 gb or space but in actuality is only about 2.6-3 gb's)

Not trying to argue Troncoso, but just giving you and the OP the heads up.

You can trim down space by disabling hibernation (powecfg h off <- in command prompt), setting up a 1GB pagefile on the SSD and disabling all others, and not installing all your programs onto the SSD

Windows 7x64 is about 15-16GB, not 3gb. MS recommends 20GB.

On a 60GB drive, Windows will report you have about 56GB.
So 7x64bit + WoW will be cutting it close by the time you allow some free space about (15 %) on it, so you don't fill it up(performance reasons).

linkin's build looks great for less than $800 after the pomo's/rebates.
If you can count those, go for Sata II with Vertex II, Phx Pro, Mushkin Enhanced ssd's.

Are you absolutely sure? Hybrid drives generally have 4 gb SSD designated for the OS. I was only referring to the actual size of windows 7 not necessarily the amount of space windows recommends...

If I'm wrong, thanks for correcting me
