Burning CD

Hi, I can't seem to burn a CD.
I have Nero 7 Ultra Edition installed.

The error message which comes up is:
"Burn process failed at 48x(7,200 kb/s)"


The CD-R I'm using is an Imtion CD-R 52x 700MB/80 min

The rw-writer is, LG 16x DVD ROM 48x24x48x compact disc ReWritable.

Please help me out guys.

have you try using a different CD?
another thing you can try is uninstall Nero and install it again using the Nero installation CD.

Thanks for replying. Yes I have tried using a different CD. Ok I will try uninstalling it and see how it goes.

quick question, has this happen recently or its been like this since you got the burner?

EDIT: you might need to update the drivers for the burner and/or update the Nero software.

i might be mistaken but 48x is a lot faster than the 7200kb/s you put down.might be a problem there.try burning at a slower speed and see if it burns...
