buy another 9800 gtx + for SLI or a single gtx 280?

I have a EVGA 9800 gtx+ now want to upgrade with some xmas money. Should I get another and SLI or get a single gtx 280. another 9800 is $160 and a 280 is $350. I'm leaning towards SLI right now it's cheaper at this point i don't know if I could stomach $350 right now lol. I will need a new PSU though.

you should buy a gtx 280. You can see how well it does against other cards on tomshardware.com (very well!). Plus, a new power supply with SLI capability will cost you mucho. (you can also sell your old 9800gtx+ card)
