Buy Extended Warrenty for laptop with only 90 Warrenty?

hello! I hope this is the right place to put this.

I recently bought refurbished Sony Vaio F series laptop (after a couple months of searching and research!). I am really loving so far! The only thing is Sony's refurbished laptops only come with a 90 day warranty. I'm not one to buy extended warranties but I'm unsure about this. Should I get one? I talked to a Sony rep and she flat out said that if something goes wrong with the laptop it'll probably happen in the first month anyway so I probably don't need it.

Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks in advanced!

No extended warranties in general are not worth it. They're a way to scare customers into buying something insanely overpriced which they'll very, very, very rarely need. What the rep told you was true, if there are any hardware issues you'll notice it within the first month, anything passed that first month they'll likely just blame on you anyways.

If you're worried about warranties I recommend buying a brand new laptop next time, you'll have a longer warranty, and a machine which is likely perfectly fine.
