ClearType

I had to enable clear type for my whole system so I could get Firefox to look nice. I don't really need it on anything else, so is there a way to only have it on for firefox?

How this thread has changed my life;

me: What is this cleartype they speak of?...oh here is the setting in windows *clicks it off* OH MY GOD MY EYES *turns it back on* muuuuuch better.

TL;DR cleartype, turn it on. Keep it on.

I thought ClearType was mainly for LCD screens. And since everybody has LCD screens nowadays it should pretty much be turned on for everyone. I can't see it using much more resources.

I had it enabled on my CRT when I was using XP, and Windows 7 has it enabled by default. It's a dramatic difference on either type of monitor.
