I'm trying to decide between 1366 and 1156 build. I have made a build for each and the difference in cost comes out to about $140 with 930 and $190 with 950. Is 1366 worth the extra cost with an extra memory slot, option to sli/crossfire, and future upgradability?

I'm not sure if the motherboards and memories used are parallel to each other. If not, point them out to me and I'll try evening them out.

A. 1366 Build
1. CPU:
Intel Core i7 930 Processor - $199.99 at Microcenter
Intel Core i7 950 Processor - $249.99 at Microcenter
2. Motherboard:
ASUS Sabertooth X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - $189.99 at Newegg
3. Memory:
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit - $189.99 at Newegg

B. 1156 Build
1. CPU:
Intel Core i7 870 Processor - $229.99 at Microcenter
2. Motherboard:

The first question you'll have to answer from the experts is "what do you want to do with it?".

Will be using this PC mainly for gaming but alot of other uses too such as: Internet browsing, watching movies, editing videos for games, photoshop, etc.. Once I finish building, my interests may peak in other areas as well.
