pretend theres 3 fresh and clean computer without no virus ect.... pretend 3 computers are newly bought. computer 1 is the primary which connects the modem, router and the computer itself.

computer 2 and 3 are connected through the router with wired ethernet. all computers are wired not wireless.

computer 1 is fast and computer 2 and 3 are slow when surfing..... is it normal?

cable broadband connection

Have you checked to see if computer 1 is doing some sort of network/internet activity? If computer 1 is downloading then of course 2 and 3 are gonna be slow..

1
- pentium4 3.0ghz HT 630
- 512mb ram

2
- athlon64 3200+ winchester
- 1.5gig ram

3
- celeron 466mhz

I even turn on all 3 comp fresh not running anything but comp 2 and 3 surf speed are noticeable slower than comp 1 even using same browser.

Well computer # 3 is going to be slow for obvious reasons.

I am not real sure why # 2 is running slow. Have you checked the specs on the NIC?

What is running on these computers, any P2P or bittorrent clients or anything that would suck up your bandwidth? Remember if you have a 5mbit bandwidth that is split between all three clients, and if one is sucking it all up it leaves scraps for the other. Or your router can't load balance anything.

at the same time???? if so why?

IF that is the case....your PC should only have 1 network cable running from the network jack to the router...that's it...your modem should only be connected to the routers LAN port

again IF that is how you have it set up, that might be the reason your other PCs are slow
