Computer for WoW (need it cheap!)

Hi,

I am moving out of my dad's home and onto my own in the next month. My little brother shares a room and he loves playing WoW on my computer. Now that I am moving out I feel terrible for taking the only computer (mine) that can support it. He is really young and wants to buy his own with his birthday/christmas money and I want to help him out on anything else that he needs.

With my moveout I really do not want to spend too much, but I do want the computer to be good enough to support enough FPS to not give any problems.

I currently am able to provide him with:
23' Monitor
old Razer Mamba
Keyboard
old g35 headset
2x2gb of Corsair DDR3 ram (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145260

What I will need:
CPU
GPU
PSU
Case
Motherboard
HDD

Now I use a crossfire 6950s setup so it is possible I can give him one of mine, but I rather not if the price isn't so much.

Early thanks for any help I can get!

any chance you live near a microcenter (usa only), and you could give him a 6950 but the psu price would go up and a 100 buck HD 7750 or 130 buck 7770 would be more than enough for him. and actually you can get a 7850 which about equals or is better than the 6950 iirc for 165 for the 1gb or 185 for the 2gb

Yea a new gpu seems like the way to go. Wow is a CPU dependent game so it won't need to be incredible.

How much wattage of a Psu would u think is needed. 450ish?

When I get to a desktop I'll probably make a list of parts and would love for some feedback. Whatever I can save would be great just due a big change in my life :)

ah yea forgot about windows, will def pick up W7 for him.

Had to google what a microcenter is. I live in mid cali. The closest 1 seems to be a good 5 hours away(orange county). So i would say I don't live near :)

Nearly the same price and with the OS + cd drive. I like it!

Thanks for that, This wont be ordered till around early december so I will def keep an eye on these. If that CPU/MB deal isn't still up by then I will look for something similar.

I am sure he will get into PC FPS so a computer which can support nearly anything is great.

Thanks for the help.
and if anyone else has any "tips" they would be appreciated!

well there will be new deals and stuff then so no real point in doing this now, but if you make it up to microcenter any time for any reason, grab an i3 and a mobo there, get 50 off when you purchase them together, or an i5 3570k is 190 and a decent z77 mobo so you get the 50 off on top of the cpu already being like 40 off.

cool, thanks. Yea I just want to start a little early to make sure I make the right decisions and get an idea on what I am looking for. I havn't been keeping my eye on the new hardware over the past 2 years since I upgraded my current rig.
