Computer Is Acting Messed Up

Some programs load slow, cursor takes forever to delete sentences in Excel. I ran Mal-Ware Bytes and Microsoft Security Essentials, updated both before I ran, both on full scan, and waited for one to complete before the other. Nether found anything.

I went through the programs list, and I don't see any unusual installed programs.

Am I gonna have to download/buy another program?? Please let me know.

Please post a hijackthis log so we can see if anything is running that shouldn't be. Also have you ran ccleaner lately?

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Please post full system specs. You can download PC Wizard from my sig and install it. Then go to FILE, SAVE and click OK. Copy the contents out of that file into this thread as well. It may simply be a driver issue.

Just ran Hi-Jack, and a message came up:

For some reason, your system denied write access to the Hosts file.

This is the file it listed in case I had to edit myself:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Says to find the lines reported, delete them, then save the file as "hosts" and reboot.

Yes, follow Gamblingman's advice on how to run hijackthis properly on vista and windows 7.

I don't see anything standing out that would be causing your issue. Have you ran Ccleaner yet?
