Connecting My Laptop To An Old TV ?

not sure if this is even possible but i have a very old 60 inch TV.....it is one of the big huge old style TVs that look like a refrigerator box or something.....not HD, not flatscreen......standard def rear projection......is it possible to hookup my laptop to this using some adapters or something?.....laptop does not have S-Video output just a standard monitor type plug.....
