From looking at the description, no it will not fit in 3.5" bays. It needs 3 consecutive 5.25" bays and converts them into 4 internal 3.5" bays

This unit will fit into any case with space for it. 3.5" drives fit into it normally (ie, are screwed in) and the module itself has normal screw holes, which can be used directly, or with Mounting rails, depending on your individual case.

1) a single 3.5" bay?
2) why? without running at ridiculous rpms (= very noisy) a fan that small will hardly have any impact on airflow

Last time i checked 3.5" is ~89mm. Good luck fitting that thing in ;)
