Corrupt Memory??

Sure theres hundreds of people talking of their phone memory cards or their digital camera memory cards becoming corrupt. But does it really? I thought only hard disks become corrupt due to bad sectors. How does solid state storage become corrupt? It baffles me.

All the chips in your phone or digital camera storage can be written to and have data deleted from a maximum number of times before it is no longer able to hold it perfectly.

That doesn't mean that you will take a picture and it won't work, it has a stupidly high amount of wipes/writes it can make, a few million times before it will even begin to get a bit iffy
