CPU Fan Error?

Today when i opened my computer it started beeping and told me my cpu fan has an error. so i took a look at my cpu fan and it was still running, tho it looked slower, im not sure i might be paranoid. i pressed f1 to resume anyways to check my cpu temperature, the temperature was at 58C idling. I thought it might be the thermal paste, so i took out my cpu fan and cleaned it and applied new paste; there was no change. I have absolutely no clue what's going on. It's usually around 25-30 degrees. Could anyone help?

I also looked at the cpu fan rpm, its sitting at around 800rpm. Im not sure if that's normal or not...

My computer specs are:
Asus P5QL Pro
Intel Q6600
err TR2-M21 RX CPU fan...basically a regular one. It never gave me any trouble for the past 1/2 a year. Just started today.

Thx a lot in advance.

sounds like you need a new fan or a new hsf, that one is on it's way out. it should be spinning faster than that.
