CPU / MB Temps

What are good temps for a computer thats air cooled to run at? I have the Antec 900 case and my temps after about 3 hours of being on the comp then restarting to check the temps in the bios were.

All fans on low: CPU Temp: 44 C
M/B Temp: 33 C

All fans on high: CPU Temp: 41 C
M/B Temp: 31 C


And are those differences big ones or should I just leave my fans on low like I have been?

Idle or load?

IDLE - Kinda high. If you overclocking alot then that woule explain some.

Load - Good temperature if you ran Orthos or something for 3 hours...

I was just surfing the net for about 3 hours no games or anything running. No Over clocking done.


Edit: What programs are there to tell my temps without having to restart and check my bios?

That is an pretty high temperature for that. Unless you were multitasking I would re apply TP and clean out the HSF.

And don't look at "cpu" temp, look at "core" temp.
