Whenever I watch/listen to something from my browser (Firefox) on my 32" Vizio connected by HDMI the sound is distorted/crackles. I can work around it by turning on the low frequency protection, then turning it back off. But I have to do that every time I open a new stream and it's a bit of a pain in the ass.
I'm wondering how I permanently stop the distortion, and as a side question, how can I get Firefox to stop only playing through the HDMI port for when I don't want to watch it on my T.V. (I have the playback device defaulted to the computer speakers)
